- Designed for Tacoma Community House. The Antique Quest & Wine Fest is an annual fundraiser that combines wine tasting, antique appraising, and live music. The theme for the 2010 fundraiser was Masquerading Around the World. I chose a feather mask to be the focal point for this invitation. The goal of this piece was to project a festive tone while remaining clean and elegant.

:: Indesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Designed for Tacoma Community House. Designed for Tacoma Community House. 2010. After years of printed annual reports, I persuaded Tacoma Community House (TCH) to engage its supporters in a new way: an online, interactive, annual report. Through this new delivery method, TCH was able to save costs on printing and readers were able to interact with videos, clickable slideshows, links, graphs, and interviews. For this project, I chose the theme, organized the components, designed the layouts, and distributed the report. Launch report.
Young Professionl Network
: Branding, Infocard, and Blog
:: Indesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Designed for Young Professionals Network of Tacoma Pierce County. I developed a brand, information card, and blog template for the Young Professional Network of Tacoma-Pierce County. YPN wanted to move beyond the concept that young professionals are "yuppies" and build a more socially responsible image. The juxtaposition of a suit, bike, and heart suggest a complexity of the values and goals of its members. I paired the icon with the tagline Redefining Yuppie to challenge people's assumptions.

Solar Pie
: Branding, webdesign, and signage
:: Indesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Designed for Solar Pie. In my Marketing Management Program, I created this identity for an existing nonprofit organization. Solar Pie is an organization dedicated to facilitating, building, and promoting the first nationwide solar energy demonstration project. My group created a marketing plan, which featured a redesign of their identity and website. I blended an image of a sun and pie to clearly connect the organization's name to solar energy.
Annual Appeal
: Layout
:: Indesign and Photoshop
- Designed for Tacoma Community House. This is an end-of-the-year fundraising appeal that tells the story of three different people whose lives have been changed as a result of their experiences at Tacoma Community House. I used a three-color design, with a roll-fold, to allow the reader to unfold one story at a time. I designed the appeal to begin and end with a simple typographic treatment showing people how their donation affects change and leaves the reader with an invitation to continue to make a difference.
